Artists Scene in Toronto: Ben Darrah Painter

Ben Darrah  starts 2009 ‘s list of artists whose works I have seen and admired for the past few years.

I first saw Ben’s paintings at the Toronto City Hall Summer Art Show. His grand piano scale and style of painting immediately  caught my attention. The gamut of hues in an almost faux wallpaper setting winked playfulness yet design fun –

There is an attention to detail and styling which catches the mind’s eye in these two details from his paintings.
