The Tapering of Honest Eds

Here is the scene at Honest Eds just before Christmas 2016. Of course lots of activity as its shopping time and for one final spree Torontonians can indulge themselves in the search for bargains to be found at Honest Eds.

And a year later the  Store is enduring  a slow dismantling in December; but this is well faster than the TTC repairs at  Royal York station, now pushing into 2019. 

Yet there is an enduring charm  that is conjured up as you walk on by the remnants, the tapering off of Honest Eds. There are glimpses and memories of the marketing and graphic magic that made Honest Eds a place to enjoy, even revel in.
